Good value, free plan is solid

I started with the free plan to build a few product pages, and it's surprisingly robust. I was able to customize quite a bit using the drag-and-drop editor. The SEO optimization tools were a nice touch, and it made the pages load pretty fast. I even saw options for A/B testing and countdown timers, which seemed cool for future use. For the price (free, in my case), it's a great tool to get started with custom pages on Shopify. I might upgrade later to get more features.

Easy to use builder

I used PageFly for a quick landing page for my store. It was pretty easy to drag and drop everything where I wanted it. The mobile responsive feature worked well too, which was important. No complaints, it did what I needed.

Built an About Us page

I needed an About Us page that looked decent, and PageFly helped me out. The templates were a good starting point, and I tweaked it from there. I didn't run into any major issues, and the support documentation was clear enough when I had a question about adding some custom CSS. Delivery, well, it's a software, so access was instant. I haven't tried their analytics dashboard yet, but the page itself looks professional and loads fine on my phone. Overall, a smooth experience.

Does PageFly slow down your actual Shopify site? Worried about load times if I add another app.

A Abigail Turner 3 weeks ago
Nah, not in my experience. They have features like lazy loading and stuff that actually help keep pages snappy. My site speed is still good after using it for a while.

A Alex C. 3 weeks ago
It's a concern for sure, but I haven't noticed any significant slowdowns. I think they optimize for that.

I'm on a really old Shopify theme, like, not even 2.0. will PageFly still work with it or do I need to update first?

M Megan Thomas 1 day ago
Pretty sure it works with older themes. I started with it before I updated to 2.0 and had no issues.

It should be compatible with most Shopify themes, even older ones. PageFly essentially builds its own sections that sit on top, so it usually plays nice.

hey, trying to decide between pagefly and shogun for my shopify store. anyone used both? which one's easier for someone who's not super techy?

B Brian Garcia 4 days ago
I tried Shogun first and it felt a bit clunky. PageFly's drag and drop is way more intuitive, especially for building pages fast without knowing code. Like, truly drag and drop.

PageFly definitely has a gentler learning curve. I found their templates really helpful to get started too, didn't have to build everything from scratch.

Does PageFly ever have big sales, like for Black Friday? Or is it mostly just the annual discount?

D Donna Mitchell 4 days ago
They definitely do Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales. Keep an eye out around then, usually some good deals pop up. New Year's sometimes too.

R Ryan Roberts 4 days ago
Yeah, BFCM is a good time to check. They usually have something special then beyond the standard 20% off for annual.

What's the deal with the free plan? Can I actually build anything useful on it or is it super limited?

Z Zach Parker 1 month ago
You get one page on the free plan. Good for testing it out, maybe building a landing page for a specific promo. If you need more pages or advanced features like A/B testing, you'll need to upgrade.

It's pretty decent for a free tier. I built my 'about us' page on it and it worked perfectly. Just one page though, so choose wisely!

Can I use PageFly on multiple Shopify stores with one account, or do I need a separate subscription for each?

A Andrew Davis 1 week ago
You'll need a separate subscription for each Shopify store. It's tied to a single store license, unfortunately.

L Leah Wright 1 week ago
Nope, one store per subscription. Each store needs its own PageFly app installation and plan.

If I decide to stop using PageFly for some reason, do my pages just disappear or break?

A Amber G. 4 weeks ago
If you uninstall it, the pages you built with PageFly will disappear. They're tied to the app. So, if you ever move away, you'd need to rebuild those pages manually or with another app.

W William Robinson 3 weeks ago
Yep, they go away. Learned that the hard way when I tried a different builder. Make sure you back up content if it's super important!

thinking about getting PageFly, any tips on saving some money? see talk about annual billing or partner codes?

R Richard N. 2 weeks ago
Yeah, if you pay annually, you usually save 20%. That's the biggest discount I've seen regularly. Sometimes partners have specific links too.
6
A Ashley Gonzalez 2 weeks ago
Check around for partner referral links, I got a small intro discount through one once. But the 20% annual saving is consistent and probably your best bet long-term.
